My 4mm stroke Judge ported 862 Dasa runs like a raped ape with Novi48s on an R&D Sidedraft , Wetpipe with C4 chamber , advent T4 total loss , race gas . It sat most of the summer while I rode dasa powered superjet . Just now getting it back out and riding it . Running 140 mag pump and plan...
For 08 ? The 08 + Worx plate I got needed extensive grinding before it could be used . If it wasn't made in China then I don't know where .
Bolt holes had to be ground. They were off as much ad 3mm in various directions. Had to grind both edges of plate a lot just so it would fit...
I just picked up my 2nd empty 09 Hull for a smoking low price. Dasa and Mag ready to drop in.
I got everything with this hull that I would have kept if had bought a whole ski. Not gonna use a stock pump or motor anyway. Would have been 7 k worth of spare parts I didn't need
Looks like top of manifold needs to be machined to allow it come come up to correct height . Is that what im seeing ? Or is it a bolt hole spacing issue ?
If you can saw the prop you stand a chance of salvaging the driveshaft .
To bad there is nat a flat section at rear of driveshaft to put a wrench on . Yamaha props being left hand thread only get tighter while riding . Bummer when it happens . Ive got one right now that I cant get off ...
I don't run them so hot they sizzle. Next thing you know you will cook all your hoses and hose lamps will come loose. I just find the point at which it oes sizzle and then open the screw some . How far to open screws all depends on water temps and how your lines are routed . If you have a...
It all comes down to how strong your motor really is. You have to start somewhere with a Prop and see how the ski feels and put a tach on it to make sure it will rev
Billet cylinder seem to get hotter and stay hot a lot longer than cast cylinders. Dasa put four water outlets on the head for a reason. An overheated two stroke is not good for making power . Overheating should not be as big an issue in cooler water , but I like to get all I can through mine.

That's one of the reasons I quit using type4 and type9 dry pipes. Makes the ski a pain in the ass to work on . I think they can also contribute to head gasket / o ring leaks because of being bolted to head. The pipe is trying to rip the head off when it vibrates.
I had one of...
