What should I do to fix the squish? Should I have the squish band machined x thousandths? What is the desired squish gap?

Ok I measured the Squish Gap again it was .018 ,18 thousandths at the thinnest point. I don't remember with suggested is but I need to fix the problem. What did you do to fix the squish gap?

No, he is right if you drill the hole forward it moves the motor back. I guess I could have been for some conversion and shaft length difference. Light weight coupler (smaller)?

I had the same problem once with my x-2 last summer. I was flooded thought. I think it might be the water box design. If you don't crank out of the water at the end of the day it builds up. Then puff the next time you crank here comes a mess of water and oil.
