I am about to put on a new crank bearing. I didn't realize that there was a little sleeve on there too. Is that still required for the wsm bearing? I have now Idea how I am going to get that on there. there is nothing to get a hold of to press it on.
lots and lots of real grease for the pump. I used half the little tub that I bought. I am getting excited to try out that new hooker now that the pump is almost back together.
Last night I went over to kawijunki's house and he showed me how to put my midshaft back together. Today I used my newly acquired knowledge and rebuilt my pump. I still have to get my impeller on but I think the hard part is done.
I have been looking at the manual for a few days now. the quality of the diagrams is terrible. I can't tell what is going on.
1. install oil seal
2. install shaft
3. install oil seal
and there are some diagrams that I can't make out.
I got my motor back from the powder coater. Not bad for free. He did not have clear though so I am going to have to take my polished pieces some where else.

The bearing can go in either direction right?

or this way?
do the two back seals go in the this way?
or this way?

can some one walk me through the process of replacing the bearing and seal in my midshaft? I don't know where to start. I have tried prying the bid seal out but it is not doing anything but tearing to shreds.
