I'm going to add another date to the facebook group for Sept 7th-9th. The first weekend is highly unwise due to it being Labor Day weekend, the beach will be slammed with tourists and we will have no beach area for the event.

Yeh seems a trek like that is unreasonable with current gas prices. At least for me!
