I will be there. Should be a good time. I will most likely end up crashing in the grass park by the water

    Looking to buy an SXR

i cant see the footholds in the pictures but the Blowsion Macc Mashers do not require you to cut into the tray sides at all. i have removed a set of them with no issues.

Painting the bottom of a race ski

its true. obviously not for miles and miles over boulders but a short jaunt down down some milder stuff puts some nice grooves in the hull and they help it track better.

Painting the bottom of a race ski

scuff the bottom of the hull in complete swaths that stretch the full length of the hull. dont do a glossy finish on the bottom, it will get too squirly imo

SXR SXR 800 Worx Ride Plate?

you hardly ever fall off the back in such a fashion that you will actually come into contact with the rideplate, so that is a unimportant issue to be honest. i would recommend any of the plates i recommended. TBM, Pro-Watercraft, or bullett. i personally use 2 bullett plates that i modified...

SXR SXR 800 Worx Ride Plate?

i had a worx briefly and dumped it in favor of a bullett. I have used a tbm, pro-watercraft, and bullett plates any each of them are very good if they are optimized with the rest of your setup

    Tuning my ski

you should replace the needles and seats as they are likely old and leak fuel into the motor when you shut it off. is this a new setup for you or did it run fine previously?

    Speedysprocket prop repitching

I sent 4 props out to Alex to get repitched/repaired. I am impressed with the quality of work and turnaround time. I would not hesitate to send more his direction. I send them out on a wednesday and they were back in my lap the following wednesday. Figure 2/3 days of shipping each direction, and...

    stock carb settings

132.5 mains 72.5 pilots 1.5 n/s id start at about 1 1/4 turns out on both hi's and lows as a starting point. That should be pretty close. Where they actually end up is going to depend largely on your actual local conditions.

    TBM Rideplate any good?

it depends on what you want to do with the ski. For certain racing applications they are awesome. For freestyle? Probably not since the plate is designed to put a bit of pressure on the nose...

    Surfriding Ultimate Embarrassing Moments

my first race at Havasu a couple years back...we all drew our gate picks and i got my ski into position on the line. I had just ridden my ski over to the start gate so i knew it ran and had a full tank of fuel. As the race official signals everyone to start their engines i try to crank mine...

SXR Need Advice >>Pump mods worth doing?

the solas pump is a good value at about 1k with a drop nozzle included. A buddy of mine runs one and it works well for him. I have a skat trak 140 setback personally and it is awesome. My gf runs a r&d afterburner cone in her limited and it still works very well.

    Building stock class Superjet

handlepole is a lot of personal preference, but, what most people do is swap to an older style steering cable (or blowsion aftermarket cable) to increase steering throw. The stock cable is insufficient for tight turns
