the hull is the bottom deck. the top deck is, well, the top deck. sounds like you can modify the bottom deck but not the top deck.

sounds like you cant modify the top deck and it shall remain OEM dimensions....seems pretty simple to understand..

i must be thinking of another piece.. to install the tbm piece all you need to do it unscrew the OEM piece and pry it off, then throw some sealant on the hull and install the new one. its not hard at all

maybe the tube and bezel is one piece..why not just tape off around it? the rubber outlet cover will cover any tape lines once it is reinstalled

IMO you don't need to add any holes on a stock or mild built 800 motor, it makes people at the lake hate you more. ..it IS pretty necessary for 1100 swaps
