SXR SXR 800 Worx Ride Plate?

I purchased a SXR 800 that was bone stock other than a Worx ride plate. I am setting the boat up to be a limited for buoy riding. I haven't ridden the boat yet but I can't get over how far the ride plate hangs off the back. It looks like you would destroy your knees if you fell off the ski. Is this a none issue? New to 800's I always had Super Jets and none of my ride plates hung out so far. Thanks

i had a worx briefly and dumped it in favor of a bullett. I have used a tbm, pro-watercraft, and bullett plates any each of them are very good if they are optimized with the rest of your setup

Poor Boy-----Is the length a issue with the Worx ride plate? Like I said in my original post it looks like it would tear you up if you fell off the back of the ski.

To give you an idea of what I got going on with the pump I have a Impros set back prop 13/23 a TBM Racing cone. The boat has 190 compression with a Factory Wet pipe. What would be your recommendation for ride plate and intake grate? Using the boat for mainly buoy riding.

The TBM, PWR and R&D all stick pretty far off the back of the hull. Ride it how it is and then you will know what works and what doesn't when you make changes.

you hardly ever fall off the back in such a fashion that you will actually come into contact with the rideplate, so that is a unimportant issue to be honest. i would recommend any of the plates i recommended. TBM, Pro-Watercraft, or bullett. i personally use 2 bullett plates that i modified myself and they work awesome. i did not like the worx or r&D i had. they make the boat more of a flat turning machine instead of being able to lay it over. different riding styles i guess.
