To get a $25k+ 900cc+ flatwater carbon hull on point from engine, ignition, carbs, pump, etc to work together perfectly isnt all that easy, yea, you can slap it together and itll work, but to get everything perfect, definitly takes more "tuning" then going down to the dealer and buying a brand...

Restricting the return line will raise fuel pressure, thus richen your whole tune. I run a restrictor on my xs motor in then return line, but the carb return is drilled out.

All early chans foothold were too far back. The 3 I've been around were all moved forwards.

T1 is probably top of my list for all around hull next to the M1, but T1 take a year to get and i think it comes in carbon only. But again, everyone has there own preferences, best to ride a couple first.

3 hours away? That isnt far imo. Im not a huge fan of the sv, for all around hull, I'd take a m1 or a v2. I use my FV for all around hull, but its definitly takes more skill to use it in that manner. Everyone has there own preference, I personally really only like shorter carbon hulls. Sv, Edge...
