Thanks! Yeah the wetjet pipe is super heavy. I'm thinking about continuing on with the wetjet pipe just for a baseline run then building my own dry pipe. The 2stroke tuners handbook gives all the math and its pretty straight forward. Reaching a true tuned length would probably mean welding it...

I built an aluminum fuel cell that holds three gallons. The pickup, vent and mounts aren't finished yet.

So, I worked on the ski a little more this weekend. I made a four chamber water box that has twice the area of a 1.75" exhaust pipe. I think it will flow well and should be decently quiet having four chambers. I also did the math and it should be 8.5lbs lighter than the stock stainless waterbox...

I can't wait for the spring free ride, I met a bunch of cool people and had a great time aside from the crazy storm at the end and then the 8 hour drive home in the middle of the night haha.

@cudaben did you ever do a compression test on the engine with a bad head gasket/ warped deck? just wondering if @whennotsailing could do a cold compression test then re-test after the engine is warm and see a difference in compression.

well I kinda had to back up and punt on the exhaust, it was going to be to low the way I tacked it up and I was worried that it was going to fill up with water. I thought about changing the water box to a superjet and running rear exhaust but it seems like a lot more money and effort to do this...

I have all the grounds and starter wires for sale if you need them I also have lots of other parts. I had some wiring melt one time because one of the two main grounds broke. The wires from the ebox to the stator are solid, there is no way to take them apart other than cutting them. I wouldn't...
