Thanks, I will definitely try it. I have the 3 transfer hole 44's which I hear are harder to get rid of a spot in the mid range. Did those engines preform well all over the board? My pop off is 32psi.. I get mixed responses to go up or down on pop off. I'm still wrapping my head around pop off...

Im have bee having trouble dialing in a set of OEM 44's on a Able cylinder/HPE 8mil. I can dial it in on the lake and it will run great but as soon as I hit the surf it starts loading to the point where it just runs terrible. I can also dial it in to run great in the surf but then it doesn't...

I like the idea of using a runabout. If you could find a seadoo suv hull and park it on top, I'm sure it would be fine. Those can hold a small family.

This is just an all around bad idea. The cooling lines would have to be pinched off before the engine/ and exhaust. As Harbor experienced, there is a large possibility of the cooling lines building enough pressure to fill the cooling circuit and exhaust which can flowing back into the engine...

It's not a super critical measurement. You don't wanna be metal to metal and you want to have a much contact surface area on the dampener as possible. I just eyeball a few mm's.
