Thanks for the reply. I'm very inquisitive still. What exactly are the oem wires, I'm guessing spiral core because when I've cut them back I see several wires in a spiral.. Are "solid core" literally one solid copper strand?

I hate flat decks. I was in a corner on a flat decks, slipped off the side and got a nasty knot on my shin. I would just widen the tray.

I did me a little research and found that I probably need to use spiral core, it has good rf properties and low resistance. Solid copper gives off a ton of rf and fiber/graphite core has high resistance. Whatcha think @OCD Solutions

Maybe someone will chime in on it. I'm curious and want to do a few coils I have laying around

What kinda resistance are we looking for? I figure as low as possible but would 500 ohms per foot be acceptable?

Well he said they where 8mm but they are 8.5

I'm at work and a buddy has a pile of bulk plug wire he wants to sell. Can someone measure the outside diameter of a coil wire for me, this stuff is 8mm.

Interesting, I figured billet would be much stronger than cast. I've never busted billet couplers but I've broken several oem.

So what couplers do you recommend? Cold fusion is a great company and I'd put money on it that they are stronger than oem.

I'd run them. It's not going to hurt anything. If it would have been oem mounts they would have broke.

I was working on a set of carbs today and noticed one of the throttle plates where loose. I centered the plate and tightened the screws. I tried pinging the threads of the screws so they couldn't back out but those screws are hardened and just chip and break. Any thoughts, do I even need to...
