There appear to be a few variations on the head pipe design. Here is a short one without the bypass outlet. Here is one on an SJ with the long head pipe.

I haven't taken the hose off yet but I think I have both a short and a long tail cone. If I do, I'll a/b test them this summer and share the results, but keep in mind that I'm running the pipe off a stock 6m6. The shorter tail cone might be better on a BB setup- isn't the Mod chamber shorter...
