    When this happened to me the battery was reading that it had over 13v and what looked to be a good charge but didn't what I didn't realize until later was that it didn't have enough amprage to crank the starter.

    Have you tried a different battery? I had the same exact problem once and as soon as I dropped a new battery in everything worked great.

    1) You should definitely invest in an eletric bilge pump. Yamaha's bilge system is a siphon system which isn't very effective for freestyle. 2) Yes, the factory b-pipe will work and is also one of the biggest performance increases you will see. So go ahead and do it and add the rest as you go...

    Because I plan on replacing the stock fuel tank with a 2 gallon Jaz Fuel Cell which doesn't use a fuel pickup but rather a gavity based flow so it wouldn't be possible to do a reserve with the new tank. Not to mention, I didn't want to have to deal with mounting a reserve just to get rid of it...

    Yes, these footholds have a lip are them and we cut out the foam in the tray walls until it was flush.

    I have been practicing my roll and this is my 2nd season with that battery tray without any issues thus far. I peroidically check the inserts and threads and they haven't moved or been damaged in anyway. Keep in mind that the battery I am using is significantly smaller and lighter than most...

    I imagine this is the case for surf riders as I see exact how this could happen out on the ocean, but I'm in Michigan and primarily ride flat water.
