Have you tried a different battery? I had the same exact problem once and as soon as I dropped a new battery in everything worked great.

you can try to jump the starter directly and if it does not turn over it is your starter or your motor is locked up. does the motor turn over by hand with the plugs out?

by jumping the starter directly you are bypassing your whole electrical starting wiring.

just to clarify: to jump the starter- put the hot cable to the post where the red wire is mounted to the starter and touch the ground to a bolt on the motor

the other ends of the jumper cable should be connected to a fresh battery.

oh, i dont think i did that, he made it sound like i put the negative jumper cable on the negative post and the other end negative to the head bolt which didnt make much sense to me at all.
Can you explain what jumper cable end to what?

Split your ebox, remove teh rubber caps off the noid and cross the 2 post with a screw driver. Its gonna fling sparks. If it turns over your noid is bad. CSPerformance in moorsville usually has them in stock. Noids go bad all the time. This is the first thing i test every time and its always been the problem.

battery is fairly new with a fresh charge.

ill try the jumper cable to head bolt.

When this happened to me the battery was reading that it had over 13v and what looked to be a good charge but didn't what I didn't realize until later was that it didn't have enough amprage to crank the starter.

what you just did was build a redundant ground to eliminate that it is a bad ground wire to the starter...a bad ground sometimes makes the relay just buzz... now check the starter and relay like DAG suggested...

im really confused by this, whats a "hot cable". i have red\black jumper cable ends on the postitive\negative on the battery, then the other negative on the head bolt, where do i put the other positive end? i dont see a red wire to the starter?

do not hook up jumper cable from positive battery post to starter....you only hook up jumper from neg battery post to head bolt to create a redundant ground...now follow what DAG suggested...

i serously think its just a bad connection at the battery....this happens to all my toys often.....give the battery cables a good yank back and forth then re-tighten the 10mm.
