    Prop for superjet lites boat

stock prop repitched by impros is what im using, works very well. I cant imagine running a stock blaster straight blade small hub prop in a race ski, that sounds like ALL of your problems

SXR SXR 800 Lites Ride Plate testing

I listed what I used on my sxr. I also used a bullett plate, tried them with numerous different cutouts, and it is also a good choice.

    2016 SJ 760 conversion

As far as ive ever read lites does not allow any other cylinder head except for oem and you must use oem reeds. Stock spec is just slightly different and it makes things confusing. when i put mine together I got the .032 base gasket and the proper headgasket from gasket tech in Havasu

SXR Lites Class SXR Build for 2017

This is important, I have seen many people, myself included, become guilty of giving them a good visual look and determining that they are "good to go" and then skip on replacing them when rebuilding carbs. I've also learned over some time that despite them LOOKING and SEEMING fine, their...

SXR Lites Class SXR Build for 2017

If it only does this issue when you turn left it is your fuel pump. Specifically, it is the tiny clear check valves mounted via rubber grommet in the pump body. These two clear discs have an ever so slight conical shape and if they wear out or are installed facing the wrong direction you will...

    Midshaft details; gp760 vs. 96rn

the oem RN housing i have shows the front seal sitting flush with the lip like in the picture you posted (i know its a squarenose one, but the point im trying to make is the seal depth). The engine had never been removed from the ski before i got it, which is what seems odd to me considering...

    Midshaft details; gp760 vs. 96rn

The midshafts use the same bearing ID, so the shafts are interchangeable, but the RN shaft and gp760 shaft have steps on them suggesting that the shaft sit in the seal at a certain depth. It almost appears as if the sj shaft in the gp760 housing is not contacting the seal. The shaft also has...

    Midshaft details; gp760 vs. 96rn

I have 2 midshaft housings in front of me. One is from a gp760 and the second from a 96 rn. The silver housing with the superjet shaft pressed in is the gp760 housing. The green housing is an oem 96 rn housing. I was under the impression that the housings were the same, but the depth at which...

R&D Lord mount and mounting bracket

Trimmed oem hose is what I used, worked perfect

R&D Lord mount and mounting bracket

The guy is correct, but imo it looks cleaner to glue a piece of turf to the chamber itself so it doesn't vibrate and wear a hole in itself

R&D Lord mount and mounting bracket

R&d made a wet pipe and a dry pipe with nearly identical chambers (on the exterior). With the one you have I would not use the Lord mount and just float the pipe between the he couplers

R&D Lord mount and mounting bracket

If it's the r&d dry pipe I would recommend not using that bracket/lord mount. Let the pipe float attached just via the front and rear couplers and it will be much less prone to cracking

2015 SJ, Cold Fusion alignment tool & driveshaft runout

The book spec of .010 is when measuring from the bearing surface to midpoint of shaft. I measured from bearing surface to just behind splines (entire shaft length) and got .020. I'll hopefully get some time this weekend to repeat the measuring process in a manner more consistent with the image...

2015 SJ, Cold Fusion alignment tool & driveshaft runout

It was twenty thou (.020"). I did not measure from bearing surface to midpoint of shaft like the picture above, I measured from bearing surface to just behind the splines. The number decreased as I moved the dial closer to the bearing surface. Honestly i haven't really messed with these dang QC...

2015 SJ, Cold Fusion alignment tool & driveshaft runout

To further verify my method of measuring I checked a second driveshaft from an untouched yamaha sitdown model and was able to achieve similar results. This puts my mind at ease
