    jet trim vs hydroturf

I used to think that hydroturf gripped the best, especially the cut diamond, but after going jettrim i will never go back. I still have one limited sxr with diamond turf and it is very noticeable how slippery it is compared to the jettrim. I wasn't a believer until i tried it, but now it's all...

Stock Rail Caps vs Jettrim Mat Caps

Jettrim 100%, you can either put the jettrim over the existing mat or remove the existing. On the sides i would recommend removing the oem mat just considering spatial reasons. the sj tray is narrow as is, why narrow it even more?

    2008 sj help

Switch to a 61x head, that is about the only way to get around the exhaust mounting differences between the two. The 61x head is a direct bolt on.

Super Jet Lites Class Superjet build

I had a similar issue on my sj with the rrp. I ended up heating the spring and rebending it. Pretty simple and now it works like a charm. It seemed exactly like yours, where it wouldn't even fit and needed to be replaced, but it ended up taking a bit of persuasion and it worked fine

Super Jet Where To Find SN Super Jet Chin Pad Mounts?

I actually have a set of those I just drilled off of a junk pole before I threw it out. I even thought "when would I ever need these" as I was doing it. Anyways, I'd be willing to sell them if you need them. I also have the front piece that the chinpad tab slides beneath.

Super Jet Lites Class Superjet build

Iirc there is an addendum regarding gaskets that takes into account the ski cc output. Something along the lines of if it is over a certain bore size you can use "x" gasket thickness for base and head and under a certain size you can use "y" thickness base and head gaskets. I'll see if I can...

Nice, the awesome thing about these setups is that they are dead reliable..you can put hours upon hours on a lites ski and for the most part if setup right they just last. Should be a fun little.ripper

    Lites class ski setup

The rulebook has the specific gasket info, and I can elaborate how I did my cooling lines on the sxr. The sj is more simple and all I did for water lines was remove the line between the head and oem muffler and put a little cap on the two nipples. I'm sure you could put a restrictor in place...

    Lites class ski setup

What did you end up going to jetting wise on a 760? I'm at 80p 135m 2.0n/s 25psi popoff. Seems alright but almost like it could be better

It means that they made 500 or more of that particular model. You are allowed front and rear sponsons, its been like that for years

Super Jet Lites Class Superjet build

Stock class had the funky "within 3 years" rule. Stock class allows 4 strokes. Lites means 2 stroke only up to 850cc. The class rules themselves are very similar

Super Jet Lites Class Superjet build

You can use both front and rear sponsons in lites class. It's an appendix of the rulebook. Nearly every ski on the line has both I use a set of modified pro watercraft rear sponsons on the sxr and I really like them. Hopefully equal results will be achieved on the superjet

    My sxr lites build.

Exactly my thoughts. OP don't forget in this class it's 4/5 rider abilities and 1/5 machine. That's how I view it anyways

    My sxr lites build.

The prowatercraft handling stuff and jettrim is the best. Get the center hump on the mat kit..it helps with foot placement. I would honestly recommend against going to 849cc. Doing that takes your cylinder immediately to last bore. Go to 83mm for a true 800cc and have 4 bores left after that...
