You can't beat free, I haven't skied Brighton/Solitude but the Altabird range is fun! So are many other mountains in Utah!

Wow I never realized that, so what is the point to compete in amateur? Bragging rights and earning a spot in pro? So $20k+ ski, train all year, travel expenses as you get 25% of total entree's.... Sounds like a great ROI.
