Fixed it for you. You guys are talented and I think rider ability trumps all. There are a lot of engine manufactures out there that can produce a winning package in both AM and Pro. It all comes down to who the manufacturers are partnering with to promote product.

No I have never owned one but rode a few boats that did and really didn't notice a difference. Granted there were different motors setups but they were pretty close 701 based motors. You can advance the timing on the stator plate with the stock cdi, the coil is where the spark energy comes from...
