    Superjet...wont turn off?

I re-assembled a square nose after getting the midshaft rebuilt by jetmaniac. Fired her up, runs great. Hit the stop button, nothing. Pull the lanyard, nothing. Finally pull the sparkplug wires and it shuts off. Tried again with same results. I think to myself, must be start/stop buttons. Just...

    Don’t buy cheap trailer parts

Using a hitch hauler AND towing a trailer behind it is on my big list of no no's.

    Lets talk starters

Great question, I've only found one kit that shows roller bearings instead of bushings, but in the description it says its for brushes and they don't promise the bearings will work. WTF mate.

    SUPERJET VS SXR

He said buy one new. That eliminates 2 strokes.

    Newbie here...my first B1!

I can mount em no problemo. Didn't learn that until about 2yrs ago unfortunately. Dragging elbows in the water gave me huge flashbacks to dragging knee around tracks on my sportbikes, which is one of the best feelings in the world. I need a blaster. My wallet just doesn't agree currently lol.

    Superjet 701 Prop recommendation

I have a skat in mine, its ok. There's a hooker 10-16 in my other superjet with a similar setup and it rips, I wanna try a hooker in my ski as well.

    Lets talk starters

I attached a pic of one of my starters. Backstory is it was in an engine that was locked up when I got it. I noticed how the housing had rotated by the bolts not being strait, but in testing it cranked fine. Fast forward a couple lake trips, and when its cranking it makes a bad noise now that...

    Yamaha 64x 760 head

I run 220psi on 93ish octane. Pump gas safe is different for everyone's setup and riding style. A closed course racer would blow my engine up in like 45 seconds lol. If you mill enough off for that much compression, its gonna need new domes cut into it as well.

    SUPERJET VS SXR

I don't know many people who bought 4 stroke SXR's and kept them. Yes, they handle good. So do sitdowns. They don't do anything else well.

Who had a bad day at Newport Beach?

So many people so quick to dismiss the fact they rent them to anyone with any amount of experience, including zero. I'm sure they just had no idea what they were doing and didn't intend any harm or danger to anyone else.

    Super Jet Aftermarket dampener?

Rubber hardens over time, so the old worn out one should feel like a rock compared to this.

    Blown 701

We've been doing that in a square nose with a 760 for 6-7yrs now. Granted I like to mix a little avgas into my own, but this one keeps on chugging with no signs of detonation.

760 ignition timing retard for rear cylinder

What was the reasoning for the timing retard on the rear cylinder when the 650/701 motors in couches never ran that? How needed is it on couches? I want to build a 760 for my raider. I have a full 760 ignition setup lying around to use. Do I grind the retarding spot off the flywheel, or is it a...

    ‘91 Superjet 6m6 to 62T/61x swap

Either run a single 44-46mm carb or run the dual 38's. You don't have enough motor to use dual 44's really. Sure it would work, but not needed.

    ‘91 Superjet 6m6 to 62T/61x swap

61x cylinder is 701. This is basically a standard 96+ superjet motor besides the extra pulse line. There isn't much of a difference between 6m6/61x/62t setups besides the rev limit. One isn't much lighter weight then the other.

    Carb tuning is a trip

I will say this, with the previous reverse jetting the throttle was extreme on or off. Up to 1/2 throttle, it was very controllable. Once you hit 1/2 or above, it was just full throttle. Lightswitch response, and I hated it. Day 1 trying it the Mikuni way, the lightswitch was gone, and I could...
