I run more timing and I dry the pipe out for as much Hit I can get down low for doing freeride stunts, but it is still more than rideable to take off on rides with no problems. The key to how the power is all in how you adjust the water going in the pipe! Group K porting will be really mild and...
I have run them both on my 850 bigbore and the dry pipe is the only way to go, the wet pipe works and it makes smooth power but does not compare the differents in the dry pipe for the bigbore. If you have not sent it off yet I would not recommend Group k, their porting is way to mild and is too...
Adj. the top screw on the pipe out a 1/4 turn and close off the other and put in a restrictor or a flow control valve to the waterline going to the tail cone, epoxy in the cross over tube on the intake and run a 165 high speed jet with the head on it and I don't know what altitude you are but we...
I have had a pair for about a month now and the seem to be holding up real well, but the do run big on the size chart I wear a 10 1/2 and I orderd a 11 and they are too big. I ended up puting in my slipper neoprene booty's in and they work perfect. They have a ton of traction and feel great in...
With around 175 lbs compression and a/m filters run a 155 high speed jet take your intake and epoxy in the crossover tube and advance the timing by sloting your pickup coil and running your top screw adj. on the pipe out a 1/4 and the other 2 closed and adjust the carb screws from there. After...
I am looking to put in a stroker crank in with my bigbore topend. who is running them and what stroke is the hot setup for the sxr. Are you running cyl. spacer or cut domes? I am looking at a 3mm crank and just need some feed back. Thanks for any advise.
Take a exacto knife and cut around the outside edge of the sticker and then peal the sticker and wrap out, then put your new sticker back in place of the old one and you will always be able to pull them off without pulling on the wrap.
Epoxy in the cross over tube in the intake manifold and then adjusted your low speed screws, you will tell a big differents on idle to 1/4 throttle response. This will make your jetting a little richer too.
could have a leak around your gas tank or vent that pours some fuel out when you nose stand it, but it probably is your needle valves in your carb are weak or worn and letting fuel leak through and making a rich condition when it's on it's side or standing up. Pull your breathers off and start...
No you don''t need to reinforce the trey it's thicker than the superjets, just put you some extra padding on it and your footholds so it's nice and plush when you jump.
I would bet more on the coil, gap the plugs up to .015 and see if if will start and if it will then you check the ignition parts. If it does not then start checking for bad connections in the box.
We are there every weekend just accross the lake, there is at least 10-15 of us there so bring your ski I will be there friday through mon. on the 4th weekend
Do not use that type of hone on a 2 stroke cyl you are taking a big chance on catching on a port and riping the stones out, what you need to use is a flex hone they work perfect for taking the glaze out. Here is what the look like and you can buy them on ebay or a industrial supply store. When...
Combs ferry has been closed for more than 15 years.. Guys we are still going to get a freeride set up just give us some time. Now if you want to come down and ride with us your are welcome anytime, we are located close to the dam and the best parks to stay at would be Hwy 86 campground...
Pole brac would not work with the nose cover and ride plate and intake grate do not fit. But just about everything else will work with a little bit of modifing or will bolt right up. Thats the great thing about Kawasaki's a lot of things interchange.
