Let me put it this way. Looks great. When does the kawi power plant start. Or does it stop at yamaha. That would be 1 of 2 power plants needed or half way. Thats the way I look at it with hulls, I am 1/3rd finished and you'll know when I arrive. :Banane26:

That is for sure. Don't ever spay it without a mask. I forgot my mask once and had to spay just the bottom of a hull in a booth. I thought I was going to die. I was hacking for days no joke. The first night I had a hard time breathing. I have never been around any paint, gel or resin that bad...

It was what I had at the time. Its pretty nasty stuff. I do like Awl Craft better in how it lays out. I'm sure you have some tricks over awl craft which they or any company wants to tell you need to use every last product from there line. So what do they say about buffing awl grip?

Thats a great price for all that prep, than detail of the paint job, plus materials. Thanks for the good words it means something coming from a guy who did that paint work, again it looks great.

I've used a lot of each and both can be buffed from what I know? Awl grip is polyester and Awl craft is acrylic. Awl grip should be buffed a little slower and cooler to keep from shrinking up. If applied right there is no need for buffing, it just breaks down the topcoat and opens up porosity...

Here are some pics of foam for the guys that want the added insurance. The foam is also glassed to keep from absorbing water and adds strength. Some more progress with exhaust and hardpoints for the engine mounts done. Finished pics soon.

That was comparing a sj to a full length sxr with a ton of polaris engine in it. Look at Seans evo pro that weighs 248-250 lbs with a kawi engine. His hull was 10 lbs heavier than Joshs. So really the hull was lighter than Bogarts. I'll have a 230ish lbs ski for Josh at WF everybody is welcome...

That and the fixed is pretty funny.

Europe and Japan have some trick stuff as well.
