have a set of kawi 800 ADA domes for their girdle head marked ka 8028 DO 15. they seem to have a small drop on them. i know they are 28cc but the rest? does ADA make drop domes for 800 sxr? looked on their site but nothing to be seen.

try to keep the play to a minimum or no play at all..less than 1mm if possible otherwise you will chew up the rubber damper.

bottom of pro is glass,top is smc.hull strakes and bottom different from sx or sxi and more similar to sxr bottom.sxr plate fits pro also. sx and sxi are smc top and bottom and identical design.

back in the days,a lot of the spec tools were homemade depending on the cranks you worked on. get some thick metal plate, a plasma torch and you're done. you may want to contact crankworks or the older snowmobile shops in your area,they may have some for sale.

get the sj.lighter,more nimble etc... better all around boat and engine is more reliable,especially the crank. the sxr is better for racing.

there's only one rivet head visible at the 6 o'clock position in the pipe after you've removed the rubber flange. just grind it out.

kawi mags use a special Skat seal and they don't last very long in salt water.
