Stock class allows up to 850cc if you read the rule book from front to back
however you would not be allowed to run a 760 cylinder
you could bore it to that size but thats all
yeah i have had a heap of type 9 pipes
they are awesome and in my mind the best dry pipe you can buy
its hard to get the throttle response of a b-pipe but you can get them close
hp is a equation worked out by using rpm and torque
as the engine goes past its point of max torque it reduces
rpm rises but as torque goes down it overtakes the rate of rpm increase and hp drops
to get a high rpm high hp engine you have port it accordinly this will mean you lose low end
the dry pipes are grunt for low end power in my experience
however its the throtle response thats harder to get
the instant brap when you hit say half throttle
but if you give it everything of idle then the low end is awesome
i think that people get confused betwene low end hp and...
no dont do that it will chew stuff up with out the front cover to support it
but find out what your base timing
you may be able to smooth the power curve out with more timing
there is a large chunk missing fromthe cases and its not helping support the cylinder
how did this thing go on the top end
as in like what rpm does it pull
if you saw my cylinder you would see alot of stuff like that in it
Mine more radical in some areas and less in others
ie i have a whole lot more support on my port
i liek the way he has tried to give more transfer port volume but i think its lost a bit to much piston support
you can pm me like you did
hahaha
ok that is an early mod chamber for a 750 and yes at that time it did go straight out the ack and it was loud loud loud i tell you
we then put a 18 degree bend at the end of the pipe and took it up to an hx water box up the front and then back down...
Hopefully they do some upgrades on it
i went to our local ski wrecker and saw six of these engines with broken and holed blocks
they welded them up but heck i am not sure i want to be doing this to my new superjet
