last time i checked,the dealers had the ring gears available.only caveat is they are usually attached to a flywheel. heck,even the aftermarket has a hard time selling you a replacement ring.

protec's site has all the info needed for the conversion. pretty simple.the mounting plate gets changed around a bit and the cable gets rerouted.
