You can use a SN SJ cable, but why not just get an FX cable? They're still available from Yamaha.

I've been using the stupid little clear Walbro bulb primers for 5 years now. I thought it wouldn't last, but I have them on all 4 of my skis and haven't had one fail yet. I got tired of breaking/failing plunger primers and these Walbro units are $5 at Lowes in the lawn mower section.....plus...

That's a LONG jump. It's more about inertia than power at that length. I used to jump a 13' floating dock on a whooped out old 440 Kawi but it took about 1000' of runway to get enough inertia to clear it.

Yeah, but l'll be 801 by next Freeride........I'll have to wash down a Geritol with a couple Ensures, wear an extra Dependz and I'll give it a go! This is a cool idea....I've watched everyone's surf skills REALLY improve over the last 5 Freerides and it would allow that to shine.

I'm going the other way......I like narrow rails. Wide rails make the hulls so stable that I think it's taking some of the fun (challenge) out of it. I've seen people stop and just stand there on some of the new hulls and that just seems wrong (sitdown-ish).
