    the higher octane in are pumps here is called super unleaded, it says it is 97 octane. i know what your saying, i think that would work out about your 93 octane, would that be right?

    i got my 97sj engine bored from 701 to760 and got the 701 riva domes machined to suit the 760 did a compression test on it, engine warm running 200psi in both cylinders i am running 93 octane, would there be any issues with the compression this high, its just there doesnt seem to be to many...

    just had it bored, no porting so should i start about 2 turns out on each high and low speed screw and work my way in for tunning or is that to much thanks for the input i`m sure these type of questions get boring

    i have recently had my 97 superjet bored out from 701 to 760 it has a b-bipe and riva head, no porting, stock carbs. main jet is 135 pilot jet 70 95g spring stock neddle and seat is there need for change now i have the 760 and if so (or not) what would be a good starting point for tunning...

    Might try it with the bolts tightened up to see how it goes, but would it not be kinda stiff when riding? I read a post a while back about the blowsion spring, does it near enough keep the pole were you leave it?

    yeh will do that. was just wondering why it was really only not working when i was flat out. it works all day long at crusing speed.

    went to do a plug chop on my super jet. had the ski flat out then hit the kill switch and let the throttle of but the engine just kept turning over. tried to do it about another 10 times and it would not kill the engine at flat out speed. the kill switch works when you hit it every other time...

    Although I would recommend using the stock bumpers and only turfing the top of the rail next to the hood or just where you need it and not the entire rail. Mark44 why`s that?
