i have recently had my 97 superjet bored out from 701 to 760
it has a b-bipe and riva head, no porting, stock carbs.
main jet is 135
pilot jet 70
95g spring
stock neddle and seat
is there need for change now i have the 760 and if so (or not) what would be a good starting point for tunning in the high and low speed screw settings

I am by no means an expert, but I would step up both your mains and pilots at least 5 points and see how it feels from there. Did you have the cylinder ported or just bored?

Eh....if all you did was bore it, the jetting should remain the same. However, jet up 5pts on each and go down from there.

just had it bored, no porting
so should i start about 2 turns out on each high and low speed screw and work my way in for tunning or is that to much
thanks for the input i`m sure these type of questions get boring

No.....you need to jet up 5 pts on pilots and mains, start with 2 turns out on both high and low adjusters, and then tune per Mikuni Tuning manual.

Hi, if you just bored from 701 to 760 i would be carefull as to the port sizes. Harry Klemm Group K told me they are way undersized without being ported for the bigger bore when going to 760.
Just my o2.
