Odyssey PC 310 is my favorite. 5.9 lbs. Charges off the generator coil. No need for expensive chargers. Super durable. Holds charge forever. 310 cranking amps. Install and forget for 5 to 7 years. Lithuim Poly batteries become unstable and a fire hazard eventually.
Welcome Bro.....I sold my 96 sj to buy a 08 sxr. Hated it. To heavy and bulky. Bought a 2011 Sj.........will never go back. I weigh 230 at 6-1. All motors were build by Group K. Text me if you want to test ride at Daytona.
No disrespect intended. Safety first. Get the proper permit and follow the rules. You will need a helmet. $25 a month for pwc permit. I believe Volusia County sells them. You will be OK to ride in the ocean away from the freeride and surfers.
I can get it from Daytona to Cleveland. I dont have insurance on my skis. My poop is super secure but not insured. So if your cool with the situation pm me. We can talk. Im leaving Daytona Monday. Or late Sunday night.
IMO there is no difference between oem and hooker 9-15. I did the swap and realized I just wasted 3 bills. I actually think the oem was better. Dont waste your money. I did bump up to a 10-16 hooker which was much better than oem.
Ported and piped 2011.
If the cdi checked out good.......I would swap the coils with known working ones. The carbs looked good when we had them apart. I had this same problem......it was a bad coil. Mine would spark on a ground check but not under a load.
Yes. Use pliers and wiggle. It should pull straight out. Make sure you remove the screw and retaining ring. When you say clip Im thinking your referring to the arm clip. There is another one at the base of the seat. Dont attach the pliers inside of the brass base.

BUT get a 2 piece. 1 piece restricts your movement and pumps up your forearms. I wear the bottom 'john' 75% of the time. No top. Except early spring or late fall. Then both. Just my preference
What do you need. I have a million OEM bolts. Just pay shipping. I need pictures with measurements. Just paying it forward. You can text me at 330-242-0123.
