Thanks Matt. The stator and flywheel were both factory installed on the 61x 700 single carb motor in the pics. So I should be able to use the 2002 SJ electrics with the stator already installed?

I have electronics from a 2002 SJ. 700 61x single carb engine. 61x flywheel (I think) Will these work together? Everything will remain stock. How far can I advance the timing? Which way and how far to turn the stator plate? Can I dry out the oem exhaust?

Overall it was a great experience. I don't want to discourage anyone.

The ski as a 701vas solid. Couldnt make the 1200 reliable like it should be.

I want to put this motor in my kids 2002 SJ. Will the oem electronics from a 2002 SJ be compatible with the 701 VXR 62T if I were to just drop it in?

Quick update. Got out on the lake. Carbs need tuning. To much water in the exhaust system. Will install additional bypasses. No full brap laps yet. Will post numbers when tuned properly.

I have 2 sbt motors. Both excellent. Great customer service. Perform as well as the oem motor that was in ski.
