I'm a rower, and I found these neoprene booties at my boathouse. They were sitting in the lost and found for a month, I just took them finally. Tried them out on my ski, and they work perfectly. No straps, laces, velcro or anything, its just a slip on. It goes up past my ankle, dosent get blown...

My FX1 is my avatar, I used a razor blade to cut around the FX1 and then I peeled it all off...

Well hey I have a little problem, I pulled the decals off my FX1, and spent like 3 hours using acetone, trying to get the residue off, I only got the hood, everything else was all sticky. I finally said, f**k it...I just took it out for a ride and now its all hardened and smooth and I cant get...

I am out in San Diego CA, and one of our issues is the fire extinguishers, we get checked all the time, or at least I do. Is it required to have a fire extinguisher out where you live?

I'd say by next week, you will be doing backflips...just know that as you may tend to be wobbly, giving it lots of gas can pretty much get you out of any situation. Just be aware of where your body is and where your weight sits on the ski, you will be doing flips in no time...(I'm not there yet...

Took up your thoughts on the JB weld, except I decided to go bigger, made a custom stainless steel plate that I mounted under the pole, being held by 1/4" stainless steel screws. Filled in all the cracks with aluminum putty. I think I will be alright, what do you guys think? I think it looks...

Sorry I didn't read that you put you used amsoil. Well, a good combination is premium gas with Maxima Super M. Works really good...

Shouldn't you be running 60:1? What oil are you using?

What material is that molded diamond called? I think Hydro-Turf is a bit overpriced, wouldn't mind making my own mats and trim.

agreed, or just save the money from the sx and use it for when parts on the x2 break, ski sounds pretty high end, you wouldn't want something to break and not be able to cover for it instantly...but for sure get a stock seat on there. good luck...
