take off your ride plate, unhook steering cable, and take the 4 bolts out that hold the pump in. When you pull the pump off, the driveshaft will come out along with it. Are you doing one of the two pump mods?

Its not complete without a drink holder and ipod hookup!

If turf is what your talking about, I use diamond cut on the rails. I use white turf on my ski to bring out its bling. There are a lot of guys in nor cal that ride. My cousins ride in Sacramento. Lot of guys go to Pismo.

Problem solved, I just wrapped one side of the key in electrical tape to make it thicker. Hows that for aftermarket?:icon16:

Are your pickups sealed? Gas cap on tight? Both nipples are taken? If you leave any openings, your gas tank will collapse and nothing will happen. Make sure all your hoses are secured and they are hooked up properly as stated in my previous post.

I actually just had a similar problem. My engine was freshly rebuilt and had a lot of oils in the engine. Anyway, I could start it but then it would die about 3 seconds later (15 times or so.) I then switched out the spark plugs and poured some gas in the carb and it fired right up and stayed...

Yeah, you saw me yesterday on the red FX1. Their were a couple Kawis out but I was only Yamaha in Mission Bay.

My lanyard keeps coming out randomly and is really annoying. Does anyone else have this problem or a solution to it? I don't want to use a zip tie. I heard the Kawasaki lanyards have thicker keys and they stay on better. Any thoughts?

I don't think I am at that level where my bracket will affect my ability to ride. It does look really cool though. Someone should make a drop in kit for it, modified hood and a lowered piece to glass in for the bracket area. ....snowxr......:wave:

Proof that it works, this thing is awesome. It snares with the 144 pump on. I didn't need the helmet, but it was new so I wanted to see how it was going to fit. I can't wait to go to Oceanside this week!
