Enough room to make a little case cooler as well i like it
ON the crank where the bearing creather comes up why do you out the little oil catcher line in there
i alwyas have to fill them up with jb weld
the oil comes up the hole
you have done a great job well done
Actually i have the drawing that i did with the date it was drawn on
i sent the drawing to the states to get it checked out to see if it was legal or not and then lo and behold 6mths later tbm came out with it
The person i sent it to i believe turned out to be a friend of tim bushmans
If...
I love the idea of this pipe i would love one in my race boat
but the issue of not be allowed to use aftermarket tanks knocks it out for me
it would make things so much easier to work on withthe pipe laid flat
If its built on 62t cases it makes a larger market
if he was building a one off for himself i am sure he would have done something different
but these are being built to sell and so you need to have it generic so that people can use there parts etc
Other wise you market is so small its not...
If it was me i would go for one ofr brians setups with a 15mm crank and an 84mm piston
all the ough two stroke engines use a square bore ratio
and 84/84 engine would be excellent
When you get to thepoint that your intake flow is alot less than your carb you will have that issueand you will find that a smaller carb will run better than a larger carb
They make a massive difference but so does cranking up the timing
I run 32 degrees static on my stroker engine
the more timing the sooner your power band comes in
to a certain point
Depends on how far you go out with your cases
i like to bring them out so the transfers dont have to do a turn and they just flow straight up
This brings the transfer right around towards the boost port
I dont run base gaskets normally anyway i just use three bond
depending on the engine...
The total loss is a huge gain over the msd and lightened flywheel
If you still have the tbm then i would try that again with the total loss
what ignition curve are you running
im confused by your post gil
are you saying supertune is the only one that knows how to tune carbs
im happy that your single goes better than your twin carb setup
I have never found a correctly setup single to be better than a correctly setup set of twins
something is confusing about your...
They also used to compete on 550s
they dont do that anymore ethier because they have found other things to be better
How long ago was it rick roy competed at the wf,s
How many people now that compete at the worlds have single carbs
ahh ok thanks
I was looking at the pics up there and i could see a line and i thought that was a seperate plate under the bottom case but it must be a machining mark
Never mind
These things are so awesome i can see myself with a set of these
yeah bolting on a plate to the bottom would be easy
ok i may need to explain myself better
if the ribs are machined into the case
you built a girdle for the bottom of the crank case
is this a solid piece of alloy
if so there would be an air gap between the ribs even with the girdle plate on
could these be joined together and water pumped...
