I'll buy your old stock front latch when you "upgrade".

I use a pair of seadoo shoes that have a 3mm sock built into them and also wear a pair of 2mm socks before I put the shoes on for a full 5mm of coverage. I've used this setup far below 40 degrees and it works well.
