    Freestyle Nozzle length and why?

If that theory was valid then a Kawasaki ZXI would not turn at all, its got the shortest one of all. I think Protec figured out that jetskiers naturally think bigger is better and will spend a lot of money to get it.

    Octane How many exist?

Octanes were a first class effort for a production boat. They came with a good pump and pipe. Developed for racing and HEAVY like a SXR.

300/440/550 Advice needed!! 550/650 conversion or pro mod 750?

You can use the pipe thats on the engine as long as the impeller is not too steep. A Concord 11-16 will work with a high port/low compression setup. A stock SXI head should work with pump gas IF the exhaust port has been raised, otherwise use one from an SX, XI, or SXR.

300/440/550 Advice needed!! 550/650 conversion or pro mod 750?

You can detune the 750 for pump gas by simply installing a stock head and carb. Ebay the injection and head. The 550 trade is a bad move.

Super Jet Stock drive couplers vs. AM couplers

I saw a stock coupler lose an ear while wake jumping. It shook so bad we had to tow him in. I you have a lot of power and/or beat up your ski then an A/M coupler may save a day of riding. Something to think about if you ride far from home.

Freestyle 750sx to yamaha 760 conversion

Any aftermarket Yamaha 650-701 pipe will work and be easier to find than a Coffmans Sizzler manifold by itself.

Custom/Hybrid My thoughts about my EME Sky and EME

A lot of aircraft parts are made in the equivalent of a 20x20 dirt floor shed, they are either perfect or scrap. It is the craftsman you want to deal with, not a salesman.

That will work but may be a little lean at part throttle for best response.

Freestyle 750sx to yamaha 760 conversion

A 61X cylinder will pull a stock SXR prop, dont expect much power without a good pipe.

Super Jet jetting or tuning? help please 701 stock w 38's & coffman stinger pipe

Opening the top screws would likely help but upping the pilot jets and or dropping the popoff slightly will be required. You need to learn how to tune if you want a decent running ski.

650/X-2 To buy or not to buy

Better look further inland for a ski. The problem with jetskis is that its difficult to find anything in decent condition for less than $3000. Even then they are usually rough. Whole skis that are POS are going for more than the sum of their parts.

    650/X-2 650 stroker

Their Hammer is set up for race gas, the Sleeper for pump gas. GroupK setups are made to survive long full throttle runs. Hot freestyle setups have too much compression for that without a programable ignition.

    650/X-2 650 stroker

The X2 wont go as fast as a standup. It is not at all difficult to make a 650 go fast with high ports, a good pipe, and race gas. The groupK cylinder and head mod is a very good for power and longevety. A stock SXI/SXR ignition is a cheap way around the 650s rev limit. You will need a tach and...

    650/X-2 Best 650 prop

No, all stock SXI impellers are small hub and very low pitched. SXR impellers have rounded leading edges and large hubs.
