Blaster blown gasket twice any opinions, dropped sleeve?

You MUST make sure the head and cylinder are perfectly flat anytime a metal gasket or O-ring style head is used. Stock fiber gaskets will seal irregular surfaces a lot better. Im surprised to see as many people getting by without lapping their cylinders.

    SXR Making your own waterbox?

You can make a composite box very lightweight as long as it is cylindrical with spherical ends. Any flat areas will bend and break during an afterfire. I made a two chamber box out of fiberglass that was very quiet and weighed 2 lbs.

    Freestyle Rear rocker ideas?

Your idea will create a lot of down force at the rear of the hull. It may be ok for slow speed riding and backflips only. Even a slightly bent rideplate will make a hull porpoise at higher speeds.

Super Jet 701 weastcoast head ,, off of a wetjet Kraze ?

The stock Wetjet domes should make 160-170psi. Make sure to use a 61X gasket or match drill water passages in a 62T gasket. Use only OEM or those green A/M gaskets. Any A/M gasket with graphite will destroy the metal surfaces.

    Other Prop pitch?

Blades are cambered to establish a boundry layer on the top surface. Straight pitch blades are too steep at the leading edge for this to happen until the boat is underway and there is some head pressure.

    Other Prop pitch?

The last number usually coinsides with the last half of the blade at the outside diameter. The first number never seems to match the front of the blade. All modern blades are cambered, this makes them cavitate less and run a lot smoother. The old straight blades were just that and would vibrate...

    Freestyle Fiberglass technology...new?

It is all relative. How poor are the methods/materials they are using for comparison? ANY change is for cost savings with absolutely no regard for the product or customer. Generally, the customer knows nothing about the product he buys so the 1% that makes technical inquiries are scorned.

    Other Fuel economy/tank time

That sounds pretty good. A lot of freestyle boats have such rich pilot/popoff settings then they guzzle gas in the surf too.

    Freestyle Fiberglass technology...new?

The resin infusion method allows high quality layups with the use of cheap molds and common materials with less labor. Prepreg material is used much the same way but its a lot more expensive right now. SMC molds are for high unit production and only used for couches anymore. Cheap low...

Freestyle Is it worth it to widen the rails?

Its easier to gain lift and reduce pitching effort on a shorter/wider hull. Start shortening the hull until it is difficult to plane then add width.
