you just drill and tap for a 90 degree fitting? What size drill and tap? 1/8 npt?

is there a how to on where to tap the line at?

smc is the hull... the white is just paint over top of the smc

ah, I plan on repainting mine next season.. the boat shop here told me my hull was in good condtion. I just had a couple spots of brown.

I Can weigh mine tomorrow. IT feels heaver then 2lbs but I haven't weighed it.

Just got an email back from them. They said it is a rust coating and it will rust with out it, but only if water gets to it. Which it shouldn't inside the cover, but you never know. They said they would get me another one if I wanted.
