Super Jet help me decide on a pipe

The Type 4 is the lowest RPM dry pipe that I have found. It handles the typical overloaded pump like a B pipe but with more power. Shorter race pipes will make even more power but require pump work and high (race gas) compression/timing for good response.

    Freestyle .

Stop and think about what you really want to do. Most everyone here is trying to do a roll and flip on a standup, so that is where advise is directed. A short couch is going to be a lot more fun in the surf than a long couch, just be happy with its limitations. I saw video of an old man almost...

Other PHP 937 or DASA 970?

As soon as one mfg starts lying the rest will follow, by the end of the week our engines will be making 300HP. The B pipe ads went from claiming 12hp to 19hp as soon as Westcoast claimed 19hp over stock. Mathematically, 12HP is generous with the stock 61X port. Its much easier to sell based on...

    650/X-2 650sx topspeed

Yes, but its not cool so nobody does it. Maybe if you wrapped it in carbon and made it really loud. Otherwise nobody will talk to you.

    650/X-2 best impeller mod. ski

Stop while you're ahead and buy a big pin 750 engine. A stock high port 750 with that 650 Factory Pipe will make as much power as the hottest race gas 650s, with much better reliability.

    650/X-2 best impeller mod. ski

A 9-17 will be close, maybe even perfect depending on the port height, compression, and pipe length. 650s become very sensitive to load once the operating RPM has been raised. You need to be able to tune the pump so that it gets on the pipe quick enough.

    650/X-2 best impeller mod. ski

A 650 Solas "I" pitched down to match the engine or a modified 750 concord 11-16. A modified Skat 750 big hub will be best for rough water.

    Blaster 1100 vs 1200 Blaster

Use what you have for now. You will be plenty busy with installation details and getting the pump load correct. Once you get the 1100 running fast and reliable, upgrading to a 1200 will be easy. Normally 44s will give a little better acceleration but a stock 144 pump will be limiting below...

Super Jet wet wolf pump cone

It takes some faith because I could not feel nor even measure a difference. Boring the nozzle will make a noticeable increase in thrust. They wont hurt anything if you want to try one for yourself.

Other Broke Crank at the Flywheel. WTF?

Metal fatigue, if you look hard there will likely be a dent or gouge at the inside edge of the crack.

Super Jet pop-off leaks (no 'pop')? How to tell L spd. jet #?

Your needle valve is fine as long as it holds the desired pressure, they need to be wet in order to get the "pop". All you need to do is open the top screws 1/4 turn and ride it. If power declines noticeably then you were already rich enough.

Your dry pipe will make more power than the B-pipe.

Super Jet So what exactly causes Pitting?

Large pits on the combustion chamber normally means something came apart internally. Detonation by itself will leave a sandblasted appearance with more damage on the piston than on the head. Considering how much compression and timing people are running with pump gas, detonation probably caused...

Freestyle How to be a BADASS by IJSBA WORLD CHAMPION DANIEL MARTIN....

Yep, 2-3 drops of water in the muffler and its all over. But wait, its a dry pipe without a muffler, there must be another reason. Maybe a throttle cable company is paying for R&D work. But seriously, its just part of the balancing act.

Super Jet Prop recommendation with my stainless protec pipe

Get one of those Concord 13/17, one that is already pitched down would be a lot better. A Skat 12-17 is also good, dont overload the engine with high pitched impellers.

    Blaster Westcoast Exhaust

A new FPP will not make much more power. Westcoast Blaster pipes would break clamps in a few rides if carlessly installed, otherwise they perform well. Save the money for maintenance since that is what old skis need most.

    Super Jet Odd pistons wear

Its plausable, but Kawasakis are generally opposite. Maybe Kawasaki assembled their cranks to compensate for twisting. An easy way to test the theory is by switching ignition sensor to the PTO. If both cylinders ran cooler then the crank is indeed twisting. It is common for all engnes to have...
