Ok I re did it and used loc tite! I called and talked to Art at jet works and he told me a really great way of loc titeing the reed bolts, so you dont get loctite all over the reed surfaces. He also said that blue would be enough, since those screws are so frail and can strip easy when you need...

well the tapped worked great! As soon as I get the 2 replacement studs from ada, I can finish it off! Anyone know what the tap size is for the head bolts? Might aswell clean them out while I'm at it.

well, I have 4 left to get in, I was using the 2 nut technique to get them in. I had to use vice grips to get them back out! And scratched the crap out of the studs, so I ordered 2 new ones from ada. I'm going to try and clean them up with air, and a tap tonight see how it goes.. if not I...

Well, I'd rather not mess with seperating them if I dont have too, thats more chance for an air leak. I do have bottom taps so I'm good there. I got the middle studs in just fine, then moved to the out side and the first two i tried I cant get in all the way. I was just removing the factory...
