Stock 44,s would be better
But you will need a 760 manifold and plate or an aftermarket manifold.
but the manifold the black jacks are on will work just fine
Your not necessarily going to lose power, Your engine is not making use of the fuel its getting.
38s will give you great throttle response off the bottom but they lack the torque of the 44,s in my experience
I have an epic as well, it has been back for the repair and it now sits on my shelf as it doesn't work.
The ski will not fire the plugs and just fouls them all the time. I run the stock cdi now and it runs just fine. My ski has new stator coils and ignition coils as well.
I bought new ones...
Im not sure lamey did one for protec, i thought protec did there own cylinder.
I have one of those as well just snagged it off ebay for $50.
If your at 82mm then you may find you have the small bore sleeves. if this is the case then you are at the max bore this cylinder can hold.
lamey no longer...
I have no issue with sbt cranks. Since they are a rebuilt stock crank it cant be that unless one conrod was longer.
I suggest changing pistons from one side to the other and see if the issue follows it
You can get them to go well once you address the transfer port horizontal angle and direction as well as the heights. There is a major stuff up with the boost port direction and that has to be fixed as well. Once these are done they will go well however they will never be a lamey
