Tubbie 1's installed, now have horrible handling.

My buddy has a limited Rd nose with about 20lbs of epoxy and glass in the nose of his ski, and with Tubbie 2's the boat is great in corners and all water conditions, and I don't notice much chine walk at all.... But his boat is like trying to freestyle a log to me, I think it is just because his...

    All you blaster/sit-down freeride-frestylists...

Yikes, sounds a little heavy to me. Blasters rotate very easy, but I hate the Gyro affect of the heavy mass.... no slowing it down if you over rotate. Once you learn to hit them almost perfect every time its not so bad I guess. It is all in how you leave the wave. Watch Jerry's vids...

    Opinions on Freeride helmets??

Thats 3lbs 9 oz with no water in it. No thanks. The problem I have ran into is that I have not found a Mountain Bike helmet that fits me good. Nothing I have tried fits like a nice medium or large size MX helmet. I need to check and see if Balistics come in different sizes I guess.

    Another refoaming question.. well sorta

You will want cut out the tray, and reinforce just like you do from the Bulkhead forward. ...Fill the bondline (i recomend epoxy+microfiber) ...I would probably go with two layers 1208 biaxal from the bottom of the hull, and bring it up into the upper turf rail. ...Then tab the deck back...

    Another refoaming question.. well sorta

Id have to say your drunk. lol Bad idea to say the least. One day your boat will go under..... will your insurance pay for all your mods, and hard work you have put into it. Why not just a tradional scupper set-up. Single scupper has been all I ever neede. My next boat will be dual bildge...

    Light weight hull manufacturers

Is anyone else confused at why the Waterdawg Rev is $3000, and the Envy is $4500. Is it just because the SXR bottom handle's that much better then Jeff's own design? Not trying to slam, just seems weird to me.
