    Good fuel line

Concerning any of the clear/colered (non-Tygon) line, it usually all discolors within a season, but I haven't seen it harden within a season. That takes about two seasons. The green OEM is the best in my opinion, but it doesn't look as nice. I just replace on a seasonal basis to keep the...

    Kawasaki Flame Arrestor on Yamaha

Wow. A used Yamaha one just went for $60 + $10/shipping on eBay. Brand new is $75 for the top and bottom.

    Kawasaki Flame Arrestor on Yamaha

Lately I've seen a lot of people interested in running the OEM Yamaha single flame arrestors. They are quite expensive to buy new and they go fast when offered used. I was looking at my friend's Kawi 650 this weekend on which he has a 44 with the 4-bolt pattern and an OEM flame arrestor...

    Holy Brap!!!

Yes, I hear he has quite a boat. He's running Blackjacks on that though. I'm heading down there in a couple weeks to ride with him. We both have very similar setups. It will be fun to do a little comparing of the work done by two top engine builders, side-by-side.

    Bogus motor on Ebay

Regardless of what's going on, they both accept Paypal. If you make payment with your credit card via Paypal, you're doubly-covered, whether it's a scam, or false-advertising. I don't see a problem.

    Interested maybe

Wax, this would only work on stock manifolds, right? You'd have to have multiple ones available as the spacing for aftermarket intakes such as R&D, Riva, and Protec are all different center-to-center spacings. Nice idea though. On the singles or wide spaced duals, Wamiltons has that...

Eric Malone Freestyle Clinic on September 16th

This is funny (the responses here). If the class didn't spend any time on the water, I still would think any one of you would be happy to spend some time with Eric and furthermore, go out drinking with him Saturday night and talk ski crap. From spending time with Bogart I picked up so much...

    ADA head the best?

Interesting, but I thought the idea was to keep the engine from getting hot?

    ADA head the best?

I personally prefer ADA, and will continue to run ADA as they look clean and simple and so far, I'm impressed with their performance on my motors and the one's that I've ridden. In fact I have a nice Riva setup that I will be selling soon. On the Riva that I have I did notice that the top...

    Flywheel pulling question

Pick up three grade 8 washers too. You can get 5/16" grade 8 hardened washers at Home Depot as I don't think they carry Grade 8 metric (5/16" is very close to 8mm).

    Ebay Stroker

I haven't ridden this one, but I did ride one of his 6mm ADA setups and it makes pretty decent power. If this is built similarly, the 5mm in stroke is only a few cc's less. From a parts point of view (considering that they are used), the crank is about $1000, cylinders (considering used, but...

    boreing out and modding carbs

My suggestion would be to use the 44 for your experiment. Personally, I think the 46 is a good match for a single setup on any motor from a well-prepped 701 to 800cc (Yam or Kawi, if set up for freeride).

    XMW bracket with stock pole?

Regarding waiting until the stock pole breaks... If your stock pole is in good shape you can still get ~$75.00 on eBay for it, which is essentially a $75.00 coupon for the XMW pole. After it breaks, it isn't worth anything.

FX-1 Gas Tank in SJ Hull

Has anyone put anFX-1 gas tank in a SJ hull? Does it fit? Can you post a picture or two? I'm trying to gain some clearance for my B-pipe. Ands be able to move it away from the wall a bit.

    extended nozzles, question.

It certainly wouldn't hurt to lop an inch off that (or enough to match OEM). I am quite certain that they were designed for racing and stability. If you aren't using the trim system, you might want to just go with an OEM plastic steering nozzle. It's quite a bit lighter too. Regardless of...
