    UMI Steering keeps loosening?

Yes, use red. Clean the threads on both, the stud, and the Nylok nut with Brakleen and/or acetone, then apply red. Also inspect your o-rings to ensure that they are well-lubricated and that the loosening isn't coming from torn o-rings.

    Talk about bad cooling problems!!!

I really don't think your hose is the issue. I have even successfully used soft-walled clear, not braided hose held onto the barbs with zip ties and it held fine in summer NJ waters. Rather i would check to see if you have a restriction in your inlet lines that may be causing your temps to...

Eye Opener: 4 Pound Trim Cable

I'll be home on Friday and do a side-by-side comparison of a Pro-Tec and this Terry cable. I was just bored tonight and wanted to post something interesting. I happened to weigh it a few weeks ago when I received it and noticed that it was quite heavy. It does weigh 4 pounds on a precision...

Eye Opener: 4 Pound Trim Cable

I was just sitting here and wanting to start a thread about something, so here it is. I got a new 11 foot Terry Cable trim cable. It is constructed beautifully, but on the other hand, it weigh 4 pounds. Can you believe that? Did you ever think about what each component on your ski...

    Atp Jetsports Intake

Yes, I am running two of them. One on a 760 and one on an 860 (6mm). I don't seem to have any breathing problems with it. I have a single Novi 48. When run side by side with crammit442's similar motor, his hits a little harder, but he is running dual carbs, total loss, and MS109 ( although...

    24/7 Still Around?

I understand that they are still around. I heard that they that they are mainly focused in military stuff, but are restructuring to serve the freestyle/freeride community. If you've only been emailing, try calling.

    Who Rides on Lake Sonoma?

I'm spending a lot of time (50+%) in Santa Rosa from now until June or so. Does anyone ride up here? If so, I'd love to ride. Get in touch. I'll pay for fuel/help maintain ski. Joe

anyone have info in this engine setup

I was referring to the one Ant ran in Pro class. I thought it was a stock stroke, but like Freestyleriverrat said, it was likely a 10mm.

anyone have info in this engine setup

ADA's new billet cylinder allows running 91mm pistons, but the cylinder height makes it such that it is set up for at least a 5mm stroke. Full Throttle did a stock stroke 91mm Lamey and I think it is the one that Ant Burgess was running at World Finals. Yes, the typically piston that they...

What to do with these cases???

First of all, there's no harm in asking here in the post. I don't think you are doing anything wrong, except assuming that you will get A1 quality parts for dirt cheap prices. Keep in mind that a little money saved up front may cost a lot later. I am a little surprised that someone would...

My New Jetworks Stroker Superjet Rocks..

That's the water injection pickup sensor. It wraps around the plug wire to inductively pick up when the cylinder is firing. BTW. Great ski. Congrats Mark.

    Bidding Etiquette?

When someone is selling something on here, they just want it sold. They don't want to play games. What you described is a game and you will get a very poor reputation pulling that more than a couple of times. Most people on here do not have rediculous prices, so you should have a ballpark...

    Vibration

There was a thead the other day about B pipe rubbing the side of the hull. Before mine broke through, I had noticed a vibration. It was due to the B pipe chamber hitting the side of the hull and shaking the entire boat. Take a look and see if this is a possibility.

    Porting For A 4mm Stroker?

Yesterday, 2nd Nature had his new Jetworks 4mm stroker at Lanier. Did any of you get a chance to try it. From what I hear it hits hard and follows through nicely.

    Waterdawg parts with fast shipment

I have to give him credit for doing the 1200. I think we don't see a lot of them out there because most people are working with currently available parts instead of manufacturing their own (like exhausts, etc). Now that the ADA989 is out there, I am quite certain we will begin to see 1000+cc...

    Lightweight hull manufacturers

The good thing about all of this is that when a few of these newer manufacturers get their hulls out there, it will help to bring the prices to a reasonable level (or at least maintain them at a fair market value) through the competitive factor. Also, it will push the mfgs to be really creative...

Boosting Octane, anyone ever try this?

Not to the best of my knowledge. The main use of lead is that it is a cheap way to push up the octane numbers. In automotive uses, it was a way to boost octane and used to lube the valve/valve-seat contact area if the valve rotated on its seat when different types of hardened valve seats...

Boosting Octane, anyone ever try this?

I'm not sure if everyone has dealers available around them, but the guaranteed way to go with regard to boosting octane is mixing race gas with pump gas. Most of us do not need to be running straight race gas and there is a linear mixing rule that can help you determine the final octane number...

    b pipe chamber ?s

The OEM holes are round. SUPERTUNE opens them up even further than 46mm on his motors and matches to the headpipe. To open them any further than 46mm you have to be careful though because the water jacket is really close (or at least there is a hollow in the casting there). He made up a...
