Cool, I kinda got an idea, think I will drill straight through it and run a couple bolts in there to hold the hooks down.

Does the two metal bars on the hood it self need to be moved out about an inch?

I got matt_e's old rn handpole off his square with bracket and all and I am trying to install on my square and have a question.... How does one get the front of the hood to stay down, the old bracket has the little hooks that the hood slides under but the new one there is nothing... Any ideas?
