Other Waterbox...do you really need one?

I dont know if it will overheat, it just wont rev like it should. You'll be stuck in the 5K rpm range. It kinda defeats the purpose of a tripple.

Other Waterbox...do you really need one?

There is absolutely no performance gain from running no waterbox. All you're doing is further perpetuating the bad image that jeskiiers have by being the douchebag with the unnecessarilly loud ski. Have a little respect for others.

    Blaster Waterbox ?

Its not going to be easy at all to mount it up front. There's not a lot of real estate, and the exhaust hose routing will be really weird. Do you have other mods to your blaster? A waterbox wont make a noticeable change in the performance. Its actually a lot of work for a small gain.

Other Waterbox...do you really need one?

Its not just the other visiters to the lake you're annoying, its the people you hang out with at the lake too. They probably dont say anything to you because they're respectful, but you're annoying the poop out of them.

Other Waterbox...do you really need one?

A tripple without a waterbox is the most ear peircing annoyingly loud ski you'll ever hear. My buddy has a tripple kawi without a waterbox which makes peopel poop their pants everytime he fires it up. The best waterbox IMO for a yamaha tripple conversion is a raider 1100 waterbox #1 (there's...

    Other gp1200 cooling lines

Yea, you wouldn't think it, but full throttle will shut it off. On the cooling quesiton, the stock 1200 setup is a single half inch hose that comes from the pump and feeds the bottom of the exhaust manifold (the box). From there it travels up the cylinders and out the head. There are two...

Bring your pistons and rings with the cylinder to the machinist. If he doesn't know what to do with that, go somewhere else.

I've found that Simple Green is the best thing to clean the exhaust residue up with.

    Super Jet Superjet Running hot

You would have to run a 3rd line, which is pretty easy, but if your not willing to drill a hole in it then you cant do it.

Its expensive but you're getting a Nynja chamber which sells for $465 alone. This is the best chamber on the market.

    Super Jet Superjet Running hot

You can still run the siphon bilge and add a cooling line. Its not real difficult. Dual cooling is the solution!

Blaster New to the forum and in need of some advice

Nynja has come up with an exhaust comparable, and perhaps better than Factory pipe. It should be available very soon, there was a thread on PWCToday about it. http://www.pwctoday.com/showthread.php?t=401387 I dont know if you can buy it as a package yet but they do have the exhaust...

    Super Jet Superjet Running hot

Was this running cooler at one point, or is this a new build and you're not sure if this is normal or not. If this just showed up one day, I would be checking my line from the pump and make sure there is no blockage anywhere. If this is a new build, I would run dual cooling, but thats me.

    Super Jet Sj 1200

Thats an ongoing debate. I've had plenty of debates with people on the very subject. I wouldn't trust the factory hp numbers for this one though, they're both pretty close to each other. I'm a yamaha guy myself, and my blaster 1200 holds its own against kawi blaster 1100s. The 1200 with a...

    Super Jet Sj 1200

Its just another reason why people opt for Kawi conversions on blasters and sjs. Its already 2" on a kawi tripple so the exhaust is much easier to deal with, plus the chamber is so much smaller.

    Super Jet Sj 1200

Vumad, my guess is that it was a tuning nightmare with that 2" exhaust, just like people said it would be. The idea of having to rip it back apart to run 3" was too much for him.

    Blaster b1 phantom starting

I can tell you right now that your problem has to do with drawing too much current somewhere. When there is too much current through the relay, it does this. It could be the starter, it could be the connection to the starter, it could be the ground connection to the motor, it can be the...
