But a stock hood will hold up WAY bettet, and also fit far supperior. I have bashed on stock hoods for more then two years of heavy abuse, and have never cracked, or hurt one in any way. My waterloged Craper started ripping the liner out on the 2nd ride.... then my role side got realy...

The price does seem pretty fair when you compare it to what you would spend building a stroker..... i guess you would just have to hope the bore stays clean for a long time, or you will be having to put another set of sleeves in it. What a difference between piston size!

Good point. That is alot to spend on a two season motor, though if the bore stays clean it could go much longer. Plus you have to run Seizco, witch makes it that much worse.

I can imagine, there you have a bazillion hp, and the benifits of a light weight hull. The Power to weight must make that boat hard to hold on too! Hell I have had to learn a great deal of throttle control on my setup to ride surf the way i like. Too much power makes alot of people look like...

Because a Ported 701 with a B-pipe is more then enough for a surf boat. If you realy think you need more add a lightened flywheel, MSD enhancer, dual 44's and V-force reeds. People thinking they need 130+ hp in a surf boat are nutz.... good luck surf riding with anything more then a well...

Damn, 229 vs 238 only 9 lbs still more then a few in my book. I would say if anything a Under flip would be what some call a flare or flare role on a ski. Basically a barrel role mixed with a backflip... Or a barrel role where you pull back hard like a backy, this is different from throwing...
