So I have a 3D printer and I just thought about making plugs/molds with it for fiberglass work. Anyone done this? Got any ideas of what I could make? Im thinking maybe a mold for a lowered RN nose piece...

Tried the wire wheel with drill. Works awesome compared to what I was doing. Still got some more work to get the glue/turf off but its getting there.

Cool. I got one of those. Ill give it a try. I have been using a DA and a wire brush bit on my angle grinder. DA works ok and the angle grinder/wire brush grinds away too fast. Ill give the wire brush and drill a go. Thanks

Cool may do that. I'm gonna go with base/clear on top and either your epoxy paint on bottom or some single stage. Gonna see how much ss is.

That is a nice color. Im definitely thinking some type of blue now. And After seeing that pic, I agree, black bottom does look pretty slick. Im up for all the ideas I can get too. Thanks for the input. Im pretty stoked to get this project really rolling. Now I'm thinking about shortening 3-4"...

Got some sanding done and my waterbox welded up. Will get some pics this weekend. But in the meantime which color do you guys like? Its between these 3. Bottom of hull will be white, pole and turf black.
