    Peak rpm without hesitation requires a very rich pilot pop off setting. If part throttle is somewhat clean you will develop a hesitation before the main circuit reaches peak rpm. You should start carb tuning well rich of peak power.

    It shouldn't be a problem unless you want to run wide open for extended runs. The only way to eliminate air is with an extra pump and header tank.

    Try a stock cone or the small hub stubby you already have. Many short cones have sharp edges making them nothing more than pretty bearing covers.

    The rubber boot has a hole in it and the switch is full of corrosion. The Kawasaki switch is easier to fix than Yamahas, all you need to do is clean it out and replace the boot. Look for a new Tigershark switch on ebay, they are the same internally.

    Your grate bolts are too long. The pump will vibrate horribly when they protrude into the inlet.

    Those boxes came in 1992 models, the 3728s were in sitdowns. Kawasaki upgraded them very quickly.

    Do not use a 3728 or 3729 CDI, they have no retard curve and a Kawasaki really needs it.

    Turfsaver 2s are 2ply tires and weigh less than common 4ply golf cart tires. There are some 2 ply slick tires but difficult to find cheap.
