TL & some compression will make almost any motor snap on the bottom. But the Mag pumps are the only way to go when you got brap under the hood.

Started doing the Pad & strap tonight. Got the strap mounts glassed in, got the 25m pad down. The tray is so big I had lots of room in the back for the strap. Going to lay turf tomorrow...... Next week the new Brap will be installed, I can't wait to see what a 1000cc is like in the surf.

Yeah, I tried Water, Air, everything. It needed the pump pulled & I wasn't doing it. Sold that ski along with all my other SJ's. No pump dumps for me ever again, I enjoy my one scupper out that back. That's enough leaks for me!

Scuppers in the pump SUCK!!!! My last ski had one & I blocked it off with a Ball on the engine side. It always leaked more, I don't think there's enough pressure to keep it closed. Plus once it gets a zip tie stuck you gotta pull the pump out to remove it. Pump dumps, suck!!! One scupper is...

I think thats the old pumpkin in that pic, Iceman has the new hull that Pat built for WF 09. Thats the new Superfreak hull. Not 100%, but the paint & rocker in the nose looks like the new hull that Pat & Stoyer built for WF09

Drop that XS motor in the 07 & rip it until the Matrix is done. What break in, I rode mine 10 min & was ripping big Backflips, etc. Ride it like your going to ride........Whats Break in???? When we raced back in the late 90's we would take a fresh motor, warm it up for 10 min & beat the piss...

My 97 RN I sold Pete was 101lbs with footholds & everything else removed. That was with factory foam!!!! After Tubbies & re inforement job it was 110-111 lbs. Weights taken from a certified shipping scale.... I think the stock hood is 20lbs or so.

I had that happen with a 5mil Protec motor. It would blow the plug apart. I changed the plug to a cooler plug & changed the timing & it fixed the problem. Maybe its the weight of that SXR????? J/K
