That setup was in my Superfreak hull which is the ski I sold Larry. I would say at least 7-10 starts each tank. I would ride the ski all day long & not think about the battery. But I was also running a motor that always started right up, XS brap!!!
I run this same battery on all my Ski's...
Larry
I was running a very small 4.5lb battery from advance with my Superfreak hull. 860cc XS, High compression at 225PSI, TL, etc. Battery ran 4-5 tanks without any problems, which thats all you want with that flatwater ski.
Here's some PICS with the footholds & turf removed. Its unreal how wide this tray is. side to side at the rear of the tray in 17inches, inside foothold to foothold was 23.5 inches.
Riding a SJ now feels like my feet are on top of each other
I'm going to install the rear footstrap tomorrow...
Yeah, I mounted them there. Keeps the hot water out of your face in the summer & In the winter I can warm my left had up, LOL
At the very rear is the adjustable foot holds, 4 allen bolts like Brett said
Idok that Blowsion FX1 pump was in that ski I got from Ken. Had a FX1 pump shoe just bored out some.
Thats what I would do, keep it simple & get it together. No grinding, etc.
Nice pump!!!
Another great ride on the FS1 today, this ski just love the Surf.
Only problem so far with the Rickter is the turf. Not a lot of pad in the tray which sucks in the surf.
Tonight I ripped all that nice RRP turf off the tray. Tomorrow its getting 25m Pad & new Black turf. Thinking about...
If your going to build a XS1000 for flatwater you going to use the Power Factor Dry Pipe! Same set up Lucas, Pat, Stoyer, etc are running.
Brian at Thrust has a PFP on his Dasa powered Rickter, nice set up for Flatwater.
