Gains BB, stroker, Mag pump, TL...

I am currently running a 4mm BB from Jetworks. After paying Art 5 grand to build this thing; he keeps talking about Mag pump and total loss and saying "THAT is how you get your good low end snap." Its like he is saying a ported 701 with mag pump or TL would be better then my 798 with stock pump, his prop, and stock elec. with enhanser...
I know that TL makes a big difference but as much as the 5K I spent with Art?

TL is a huge difference. I hear that a mag pump is too. I'll be testing that out soon. The total package is where it is at.

I am about to have the same setup you got. Art is building my 4mm BB right now and I am getting a prop from him and just had JSS rebuild my ebox with an enhanser. He has talked to me about getting a mag pump but didnt make a big deal about it. What about running the TBM pump cone?

TL & some compression will make almost any motor snap on the bottom. But the Mag pumps are the only way to go when you got brap under the hood.

I figure I will end up having to get a mag pump but it might be a little bit till I can sink that much more money into my ski. I still dont know about total loss. I am going to be running 105 octane fuel and MRD 50mm fuel injection so I am hoping that will give me all the power I need/want for now.

I can't vouch for the mag pump as I've never tried one but TL will not disappoint you.

Only problem with TL is saltwater..... I ran TL in my LPW ski all last yr, you gotta love the snap, but damn its a lot of work to keep it going. My TL was set up for saltwater & was still work to keep it 100%...

i cant even imagine total loss stroker bb running a 50 mill mrd.......oh wait yes I can,it hit hard as shiiiit on a enhancer.spun the crap outa alot of props i tried till i got a hooker. ended up taking it off after i found a killer deal on fs 48s,only cause i was to lazy to follow through on building intake risers for the f/a for riding surf and it drank gas unreal like.

mag pump all the way. it can make a 701 feel like a big bore!!! its like a car with 1000 h.p. and you bolt a set of 205/60/14's on it. why bother?to make all that h.p.
all my boats have mag pumps in them.best bang next to a b-pipe.

What hooker pitch did you end up going with for your stroker setup. I am to lazy to do the intial tuning in of the MRD so I am having robert at jet ski mechanic go over everything and tune it in for your. I was also going to get some risers made I think I talked to you about this before but just have not got to that yet. I am just going to run dual 800GPH bilge pumps and hope it keeps up.

is this motor even worth having? what if I had a 760 out of a couch and the mag and total loss compaired to my 798 from art with mag and total loss??

Art's motor will smoke it.

I dont know if I would trade Art's 798 setup for a 760 counch motor. I liked the way my 61x/62T 701 hit way more then my friends 62T cylinders bored to 760. I think art's motor is the way to go I just think you gotta get it to hook up which is a good problem to have. I have herd good things about the TBM pump cone (poor mans mag pump) and also good things about the hooker props. I figured I was going to try a hooker and if its still to much power for it then add a TBM cone.
